SAP QM-Dynamic Modification(SAP QM Introduction IV)
Where are we?
In conjunction with sample determination,dynamic modification also plays an important role.Dynamic modification automatically reduces or increases the size of a sample according to the reuslt of a previous inspection.The work involved for an inspection can then be reduced or increased,if required.
Dynamic modification can help reduce the sample size and skip the inspection.
Below is the glossory we should pay attention.
Dynamic modification rule
- contains the inspection stage change
Inspection Severities
- A measure of the performance capability of a sampling plan, calculated from the discrimination ratio and valuation severity (according to the DGQ – German Society for Quality).
- In the QM application component, it identifies a normal, reduced, or tightened inspection. Sampling schemes can refer to sampling plans for inspection severity, or inspection severity and accepted quality level (AQL).
- By varying the inspection severity, the probability of acceptance and the inspection effort can be flexibly adjusted to respond to different quality situations.
Inspection Stage
- You define an inspection stage by assigning an inspection severity (or by setting the skip indicator) and using the rules for an inspection stage change. Therefore, inspection stages represent a certain inspection scope or a skip.
Quality Level
- The quality level is the current stage of dynamic modification in relation to certain dynamic modification criteria.
The path for define dynamic modification is
Logistics->Quality Management->Quality Planning->Basic Data->Sample->Dynamic Modification Rule->Create(QDR1)
